Support Worker

About the role

As a Support Worker at Consensus you will join a community‑focused team that empowers people with learning disabilities, autism and complex needs. You will help residents at Huntley enjoy meaningful daily experiences, develop new skills and participate fully in community life.

Key responsibilities

• Assist individuals in engaging with leisure, social and community activities.
• Support people to communicate effectively, adapting to each person’s communication style.
• Celebrate special occasions and encourage participation in hobbies and skill‑building sessions.
• Promote independence by helping residents make choices about their environment and daily routines.

Required profile

• Passionate about person‑centred care and inclusive values.
• Open to working with adults who have learning disabilities, autism or complex needs.
• Either new to the sector or experienced as a mental health support worker, care worker, healthcare assistant or similar.
