About the role
Join Agincare’s dedicated team at Elizabeth Court in Dorchester, a 16‑bed supported living service. You will help individuals with learning disabilities, autism, mental health challenges and complex needs live as independently as possible while enjoying a vibrant community life.
Key responsibilities
- Encourage service users to engage in community activities and develop independence.
- Assist with daily living tasks such as personal care, meal preparation, budgeting and routine planning.
- Communicate using each person’s preferred methods and support positive behavioural approaches when needed.
- Maintain accurate records and promptly report any changes in health or circumstances to senior staff.
- Work collaboratively with the team while also taking initiative when required.
Required profile
- Enthusiastic, people‑focused attitude with a proactive approach.
- Minimum of 12 months’ right to work in the UK.
- Commitment to delivering person‑centred outcomes for individuals with complex support needs.
Required skills
- Effective communication using a variety of methods.
- Ability to record information accurately and follow reporting procedures.
- Teamwork and independent decision‑making capabilities.
