About the role
We are looking for a compassionate Support Worker to join our Supported Living facility in Carlisle. You will help adults with learning disabilities, autism and challenging behaviour live as independently as possible, using a person‑centred approach.
Key responsibilities
- Provide personal care and assistance with daily living activities.
- Support individuals in community outings, shopping and managing budgets.
- Encourage development of skills, interests and independence.
- Maintain accurate records using a digital social care system.
- Work flexible shifts, including nights and weekends, to ensure 24‑hour coverage.
Required profile
- Genuine passion for supporting people with autism and learning disabilities.
- Enthusiastic, creative thinker and problem solver.
- Ability to work flexibly in a 24‑hour service.
- Commitment to person‑centred care and positive outcomes.
