Support Worker – Learning Disabilities & Autism

About the role

We are seeking a compassionate Support Worker to join a specialist care organisation in Tunbridge Wells. You will help individuals with learning disabilities and autism achieve greater independence while supporting their daily lives.

Key responsibilities

• Assist with daily living tasks such as cooking, cleaning, personal care and travel escorts.
• Teach independent life skills and support access to community activities (college, swimming, work placements, social outings).
• Provide flexible coverage across day, night and sleep‑in shifts.
• Maintain accurate records and follow care plans.

• Ability to work independently or as part of a team.
• Patience, sense of humour and ability to relate to people from diverse backgrounds.
