Support Worker – Learning Disabilities (Full‑time)

About the role

Cygnet Group is seeking a compassionate Learning Disabilities Support Worker to join the team at Devon Lodge, a specialist residential service for adults with autism and learning disabilities. You will work across a 42‑hour weekly rota, providing person‑centred care and helping residents lead independent, fulfilling lives.

Key responsibilities

• Deliver flexible, person‑centred support tailored to each resident’s needs.
• Assist with daily living skills, personal care, and wellbeing activities.
• Support medical and welfare requirements, recording health and progress notes.
• Promote safety, dignity, and safeguarding of all individuals in your care.
• Maintain a clean, safe, and positive residential environment.

Required profile

• Genuine desire to make a meaningful difference for people with learning disabilities.
• Strong communication skills and ability to work confidently within a team.
• Compassionate, intuitive, and supportive nature.
• Positive attitude and energy to create a stimulating environment.
• Willingness to undergo an enhanced DBS check.
