Support Worker – Learning Disabilities (Reading)

About the role

We are looking for a caring Support Worker to join our team in Reading, providing day‑to‑day assistance to adults with learning disabilities living in our supported‑living service. You will help service users enjoy a high quality of life by supporting them in everyday activities and personal care.

Key responsibilities

• Assist individuals with personal care tasks, ensuring dignity and respect.
• Support participation in community and leisure activities such as swimming, shopping trips, and music sessions.
• Provide practical and emotional support to promote independence.
• Maintain accurate records of care provided and communicate any concerns to senior staff.

Required profile

• A caring attitude and commitment to high‑quality care.
• Willingness to work flexible hours in a team‑oriented environment.
• Eligibility to work in the UK and residence in the UK.

Required skills

• Basic communication skills.
