Support Worker – Mental Health & Learning Disabilities

About the role

We are seeking a passionate Support Worker to join our dynamic services in Stockton‑on‑Tees and Billingham. You will help service users with mental health and learning disabilities to live independently, reduce isolation and promote wellbeing.

Key responsibilities

• Provide person‑centred care and support to clients in daily activities and recreational programmes.
• Promote independence, mental and physical wellbeing, and social inclusion.
• Communicate positively and engage with service users, demonstrating unconditional positive regard.
• Work confidently when alone, adapting to a variety of client needs.

Required profile

• Enthusiastic about delivering person‑centred care; no prior experience required.
• Willingness to work full‑time on‑site in Stockton‑on‑Tees.
• Preferably holds a valid driver’s licence.
• Eligible to work in the UK; no sponsorship available.
