Support Worker – Mental Health (Taunton)

About the role
Join Cygnet’s Taunton team as a Support Worker, delivering person‑centred care to mental health service users in an acute inpatient setting. You will work 38.5 hours per week, providing both emotional and practical assistance to help individuals progress towards greater independence.
Key responsibilities
- Offer flexible, enhanced care tailored to each service user’s needs.
- Provide physical and emotional support, encouraging independence.
- Assist with medical, welfare and daily living tasks and record observations.
- Maintain a safe, clean environment and uphold safeguarding procedures.
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure holistic care.
- Work shifts that include nights and weekends, adhering to an enhanced DBS check requirement.
