Support Worker – Night Shift

About the role

Make a difference every day as a night‑shift Support Worker at Hart House, an open supported living unit staffed 24 hours a day. You will join a team experienced in caring for residents with dual diagnosis and forensic histories, delivering recovery‑based support.

Key responsibilities

• Assist residents with personal care and daily living activities.
• Support residents in developing and maintaining independence.
• Help with meal preparation, medication management, and household tasks.
• Provide emotional support and companionship.
• Maintain accurate records and documentation.
• Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive care.

Required profile

• Minimum of 1 + years’ experience as a support worker.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Compassionate and empathetic approach to care.
• Flexibility to work various shifts, including weekends and holidays.
• NVQ Level 2 in Health and Social Care and first‑aid training.
