Support Worker – Night Shift (Minehead)

About the role

Voyage Care is looking for caring individuals to join our supported‑living team in Minehead on night shifts. You will help adults with learning disabilities or other support needs to live more independently while enjoying a vibrant, community‑focused environment.

Key responsibilities

• Provide personal care, including assistance with dressing, toileting and hygiene.
• Support daily living tasks such as meal preparation, budgeting and medication reminders.
• Encourage participation in local activities, social outings and leisure pursuits.
• Document care notes and communicate any changes in health or wellbeing to senior staff.
• Work a rotating schedule of two night shifts per week (20:30‑08:00, Saturday‑Sunday).

Required profile

• A genuine passion for improving the quality of life of people you support.
• Reliability, punctuality and the ability to work well within a team.
• Willingness to learn on the job; no prior experience is required.

• Base rate of £13.14 per hour, rising to £13.64 with enhancements.
