Support Worker – Offender Rehabilitation

About the role
Join Seetec as a Support Worker in Plymouth, delivering motivational support and guidance to participants transitioning from prison or serving community sentences. You will work from a dedicated Activity Hub, helping individuals create and follow personalised plans from assessment through to programme exit.
Key responsibilities
- Conduct initial assessments and develop tailored support plans.
- Facilitate one‑to‑one keywork sessions and group activities.
- Monitor progress, adjust plans as needed and report against contractual targets.
- Lead and contribute to hub‑based interventions that promote positive community contributions.
- Maintain accurate case records and collaborate with the wider team.
Required profile
- Experience in probation, social care or the criminal‑justice sector is desirable.
- Ability to work confidently with a diverse range of people and backgrounds.
- Strong planning, communication and organisational abilities.
- Commitment to supporting participants in achieving lasting change.
Required skills
- Effective interpersonal and coaching skills.
- Capability to develop and follow structured support plans.
What we offer
- Competitive salary of £25,877 – £29,000 per year (dependent on experience).
- 25 days annual leave plus Bank Holidays and a birthday day off, with the option to purchase up to 5 additional days.
