Support Worker – Part‑time (22.5 hrs/week)

About the role

Support Workers are essential to our community, providing personalised care to adults with learning disabilities, autism and complex needs at Pool Cottage, a relaxed rural home in Wilcrick, Newport.

Key responsibilities

• Assist individuals with daily living activities and personal care.
• Facilitate participation in community, leisure and social activities.
• Support communication needs and help people express themselves effectively.
• Celebrate special occasions and encourage meaningful experiences.
• Work rotational shifts totalling 22.5 hours per week.

Required profile

• Compassionate and respectful attitude towards service users.
• Values aligned with inclusive, person‑centred care.
• Willingness to work part‑time, rotational shifts.
• Either new to care or with experience in social care, mental health, or similar roles.
