Support Worker (Part‑time)

About the role

Dalesview Partnership is seeking enthusiastic part‑time Support Workers to join its team in Clayton‑le‑Woods, Chorley and Leyland. You will help adults with severe learning and physical disabilities live fulfilling, independent lives while balancing your own home commitments.

Key responsibilities

• Provide effective, person‑centred care and support to adult residents.
• Assist with moving and handling, personal care, eating and drinking in line with individual care plans.
• Enable service users to access community activities and leisure pursuits such as swimming, cycling, yoga and more.
• Follow risk assessments and health‑and‑safety procedures at all times.

Required profile

• Caring, reliable and flexible attitude.
• Previous experience with learning disabilities is desirable but not essential.
• NVQ Level 2 or equivalent desirable, or willingness to work towards the qualification.
• Full driving licence and eligibility for a DBS check.

Required skills

• Person‑centred care delivery.
• Moving and handling techniques.
• Ability to follow care plans and risk assessments.
