Support Worker / Personal Assistant – Specialist Spinal Injury Support

About the role
This permanent, full‑time position provides 2:1 care for a 41‑year‑old man living independently with a C4/C5 spinal cord injury. You will support him both at home and in the community, helping him maintain an active, fulfilling lifestyle while attending charity events and work commitments.
Key responsibilities
- Deliver personal care and daily living assistance.
- Support mobility, travel and participation in community activities.
- Accompany the client to charity events and work with a national spinal injury charity.
- Assist with work‑related tasks and social routines as part of a consistent 2:1 team.
- Provide optional sleeping night cover when required.
Required profile
- Kind, calm and emotionally intelligent.
- Trustworthy and dependable.
- Willing to work 14‑hour shifts.
- Confident driver with own car (rural location).
Required skills
- Full UK driving licence.
- Own transport.
- Good level of English.
