Support Worker – Personal Care (Female GOR)

About the role
We are seeking a caring and reliable Support Worker to provide 1:1 personal care for a young adult with complex needs in their own home. The role involves supporting daily living, encouraging independence, and accompanying the individual in community activities.
Key responsibilities
- Deliver full personal care, including dressing, toileting and hygiene.
- Prepare safe, nutritious meals according to dietary requirements.
- Support the individual during outings and community visits.
- Follow detailed care plans and routines to maintain predictability.
- Collaborate with family and the wider support team to ensure consistency.
Required profile
- Calm, patient and observant approach.
- Ability to build trust and provide reassurance over time.
- Willingness to work in partnership with family and colleagues.
- Full driving licence desirable for day shifts, but not essential.
Required skills
