About the role

Key responsibilities

• Assist individuals in engaging with meaningful activities, leisure, and social events.
• Promote person‑centred active support, encouraging independence rather than doing tasks for them.
• Facilitate communication, adapting approaches to each person’s needs.
• Celebrate special occasions and support community involvement.

Required profile

• Values aligned with person‑centred care and empowerment.
• Open to candidates new to care or with experience as a Mental Health Support Worker, Care Worker, Healthcare Assistant or Care Assistant.
• Willingness to undergo a free DBS check.
• Ability to work rotational shifts covering 37.5 hours per week.
