Support Worker – Person‑Centred Care in Blackburn

About the role

We are seeking a warm, caring and motivated Support Worker to join our well‑established team in Blackburn. You will provide person‑centred care to four individuals living independently, helping them enjoy daily activities and pursue their passions.

Key responsibilities

• Deliver personal care, medication administration and support with mobility.
• Assist clients with cooking, baking, board games, movie nights, arts and crafts, and other community‑based activities.
• Facilitate safe travel to community venues using clients’ own mobility vehicles.
• Work flexible shifts, including day, evening, weekend, bank holiday and sleep‑in cover as required.

Required profile

• Positive communication skills and ability to engage unconditionally with the people you support.
• Good sense of humour and a friendly, energetic attitude.
• Willingness to work a minimum of 16 hours per week for part‑time roles.
• Valid UK right to work; no sponsorship or Skilled Worker Visa holders.
