Support Worker – Residential Care

About the role

Join Cygnet as a Support Worker and make a meaningful difference to adults with learning disabilities, autism and complex needs. You will work across two residential sites – Dean Grange in Broadoak, Newnham and Milestones in Cinderford – delivering person‑centred care that promotes independence and wellbeing.

Key responsibilities

• Provide enhanced, flexible care tailored to each individual's needs.
• Offer physical and emotional support, encouraging choice and control.
• Assist with medical, personal and welfare tasks and accurately record observations.
• Report any safeguarding concerns and maintain a safe, clean environment.
• Collaborate with the multidisciplinary team to develop and review care plans.

Required skills

• No specific technical skills required; caring attitude and reliability are essential.

What we offer

• Starting rate of £13.25 per hour, rising to £13.45 after three months.
