Support Worker – Scottish Islands (Western Isles)

About the role
Randstad Care is seeking compassionate support workers to join its team on the Scottish Western Isles. You will provide personalised care in community settings, homes and care homes, helping service users with daily living tasks while enjoying the unique island environment.
Key responsibilities
- Assist service users with meal preparation, medication administration and personal care.
- Support mobility through safe moving and handling techniques.
- Carry out household tasks and general domiciliary duties.
- Build positive relationships and promote independence for people with learning disabilities, dementia, physical disabilities or challenging behaviour.
Required profile
- Minimum 1 year of UK care experience in a care home or community setting.
- Compassionate, caring attitude with strong communication skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team.
- Full UK driving licence and access to a vehicle.
- Right to work in the UK (no sponsorship).
