Support Worker – Supported Living (Temporary)

About the role
Support Workers are needed to provide person‑centred assistance within a supported living service for adults with learning disabilities. The role is shift‑based, covering dates in late July and early August, and focuses on promoting independence, choice and dignity.
Key responsibilities
- Assist residents with daily living tasks and personal care as outlined in care plans.
- Support development of daily living skills, routines and activities.
- Encourage independence and positive outcomes while maintaining professional boundaries.
- Follow care plans, risk assessments and support procedures.
- Record observations and complete required documentation accurately.
- Work collaboratively with colleagues, families/advocates and other professionals.
Required profile
- Minimum 12 months’ UK care experience, preferably supporting people with learning disabilities.
- Right to work in the UK without sponsorship.
- Availability to work shifts on 24‑28 July and 28 July‑3 August.
- Commitment to safe working practices and high standards of care.
