Support Worker – Temporary to Permanent (Nantwich)

About the role

We are seeking compassionate Support Workers for a temporary‑to‑permanent position in Nantwich. You will provide person‑centred assistance to adults with autism and mental health needs, helping them build independence, confidence and daily living skills while safeguarding their wellbeing.

Key responsibilities

• Deliver tailored support in line with individual care plans.
• Assist with personal care, meal preparation and household tasks.
• Promote independence and confidence through skill‑building activities.
• Maintain a safe environment and monitor health and safety concerns.
• Collaborate closely with the local authority and other professionals.
• Work a flexible rota covering weekdays, weekends and night shifts as required.

Required profile

• Previous experience supporting people with autism and mental health needs.
• Excellent spoken and written English.
• Ability to prepare traditional English meals.
• Full‑time availability, including weekends and night shifts on a rota basis.
• Preferably a full UK driving licence and local residence in Nantwich.
• Visa holders must have at least nine months remaining on their visa.
• Ready for interview at short notice and able to start immediately.
