Supported Housing Worker – Highbridge

About the role

We are seeking a dedicated Supported Housing Worker to join our project in Highbridge. You will help residents achieve independence by providing a safe, welcoming environment and supporting them to develop life‑skills for independent living.

Key responsibilities

• Build positive, professional relationships with residents, colleagues and partner agencies.
• Support day‑to‑day running of supported accommodation, ensuring high service standards.
• Assist residents with move‑in documentation and settling in.
• Develop, implement and review individual support plans that promote independence.
• Write and update risk assessments, managing identified risks.
• Manage an allocated caseload, delivering consistent person‑centred support.
• Help residents build practical life skills, manage finances and prepare for move‑on accommodation.
• Lead or support group activities that promote wellbeing and community engagement.
• Maintain accurate records and ensure compliance with safeguarding, confidentiality and health‑and‑safety requirements.

Required profile

• Empathetic, patient and professional attitude.
• Calm under pressure and respectful in all interactions.
• Experience supporting individuals or working in a customer‑focused environment.
• Current Enhanced DBS check.
• Strong communication and interpersonal abilities.
• Willingness to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays on a rota basis.

What we offer

• Hourly rate of £14.12–£16.52 plus holiday pay.
• Full‑time hours on a 4‑6 week contract with the possibility of extension.
