Supported Learning Lecturer

About the role

We are seeking a Supported Learning Lecturer to join a prestigious further‑education college in Isleworth. The role is full‑time on a temporary basis, delivering inclusive lessons and supporting learners with special educational needs to achieve independence and progress.

Key responsibilities

• Plan and deliver engaging Functional Skills, independent living, employability and social skills lessons.
• Provide one‑to‑one and group support to learners with SEND and EHCPs, monitoring progress and attendance.
• Act as personal tutor, setting targets and reviewing achievement.
• Collaborate with Learning Support Assistants, employers and external agencies to ensure high‑quality learner support.
• Prepare lesson plans, assessments and maintain accurate learner records while upholding safeguarding and equality standards.

Required profile

• Proven experience teaching learners with SEND and EHCPs.
• Recognised teaching qualification and relevant degree (or Level 6 equivalent).
• Enhanced DBS on the Update Service.
