Supported Living Coordinator – Blackpool

About the role

Creative Support Ltd is seeking a dedicated Supported Living Coordinator to lead its supported living and outreach service in Blackpool. You will work directly with adults who have learning disabilities, including those on the autism spectrum and with complex needs, helping them achieve greater independence and community participation.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and promote independent living skills and community inclusion for service users.
• Identify and arrange meaningful activities that enhance quality of life.
• Provide respectful personal care, emotional support, and practical assistance.
• Collaborate with service users, families, and multidisciplinary teams to optimise outcomes.
• Ensure compliance with Creative Support policies, CQC standards, and organisational procedures.
• Supervise, mentor and support staff to deliver person‑centred care.
• Manage challenging behaviours using positive behaviour support strategies.

Required profile

• Proven experience in supported living or similar social care settings.
• Demonstrated management or supervisory experience.
• Ability to work flexibly, including evenings and weekends.
• Access to a car for outreach duties.
• Eligibility to work in the UK without sponsorship.

Required skills

• Knowledge of CQC regulations and compliance.
• Understanding of positive behaviour support approaches.
• Strong organisational and leadership abilities.
