Surgical Vitreoretinal Account Manager (Midlands & Northwest England)

About the role

Alcon is seeking a commercially driven and clinically focused Surgical Vitreoretinal Account Manager to cover the Midlands and Northwest England region. The role partners with leading vitreoretinal surgeons, theatre teams, procurement specialists and key decision‑makers to drive adoption of Alcon’s surgical portfolio.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and execute territory business plans to exceed sales objectives for the vitreoretinal portfolio.
• Identify and secure new business opportunities while strengthening existing customer relationships.
• Build strategic partnerships with vitreoretinal consultants, theatre teams, procurement stakeholders and hospital decision‑makers.
• Drive product adoption and procedural utilisation through education, clinical support and commercial value discussions.
• Identify and develop opportunities for capital equipment placement and market expansion.
• Support customers during implementation and adoption of new technologies and surgical innovations.
• Gather and communicate market intelligence, competitor activity and customer insights.
• Organise local educational meetings, workshops and events in compliance with company policies.
• Maintain accurate territory records, sales plans and administrative activities.
