Swimming Instructor – Self-Employed (Stevenage)

About the role

We are looking for a passionate self‑employed Swimming Instructor to join David Lloyd Clubs in Stevenage. You will coach members of all ages, delivering one‑to‑one and group swimming sessions that help them achieve their personal water‑confidence and fitness goals.

Key responsibilities

• Plan and deliver swimming lessons for individuals and groups across various skill levels.
• Monitor progress, provide feedback and adjust teaching methods to meet each member’s objectives.
• Maintain a safe and welcoming pool environment, adhering to health and safety standards.
• Promote the club’s health and wellness ethos and encourage member participation.

Required profile

• Hold a Swim England Level 2 Swimming Teacher qualification or an equivalent certification.
• Demonstrate a genuine passion for health, fitness and swimming.
• Excellent communication and collaboration abilities.
• Self‑motivated and able to deliver high‑quality experiences independently.
