About the role
We are seeking a Syndicate Accountant to join a leading London insurer. The successful candidate will deliver accurate and timely financial information for the Syndicate and related entities, ensuring compliance with regulatory standards.
Key responsibilities
- Prepare and review regulatory returns for Lloyd's entities, including the Solvency II (SII) return.
- Complete all Balance Sheet and P&L reconciliations for internal review.
- Prepare and review quarterly consolidation reports for the Group.
- Produce entity management information for submission to the Group finance team, supported by detailed analysis.
- Perform monthly and quarterly reconciliations to support the P&L and Balance Sheet across all Lloyd's entities.
Required profile
- Qualified accountant (ACA or ACCA) or equivalent experience.
- Minimum 3 years’ experience within the Lloyd's insurance market.
- Proven experience in completing Lloyd's regulatory returns.
