System Administrator – Software Development Lab

About the role

We are seeking a skilled System Administrator to manage and support the software development lab environment. The role focuses on ensuring that developers have reliable, secure, and well‑maintained infrastructure for coding, testing, and validation activities.

Key responsibilities

• Maintain lab hardware including physical servers, storage, and networking equipment.
• Administer virtualization platforms such as VMware and Hyper‑V.
• Manage Windows Server environments, including Active Directory, DNS, DHCP, and Group Policy.
• Operate and secure air‑gapped systems and isolated networks.
• Implement backup, disaster recovery, patch management, and system hardening procedures.
• Provide lab provisioning, troubleshooting, and performance monitoring for engineering teams.
• Document technical configurations, network diagrams, and inventory records.
• Ensure compliance with IT security and access‑control standards.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in IT, Computer Science, Engineering or a related discipline.
• Hands‑on experience with virtualization platforms and Windows domain administration.
• Proven ability to work with isolated or air‑gapped environments.
• Strong troubleshooting, problem‑solving, and communication skills.
• Excellent documentation abilities.
