System Implementation Specialist – Interim (12‑15 month)

About the role

This interim position supports a major property business as it rolls out the MRI Horizon system across the organisation. You will own the data migration and quality assurance activities that are critical to a successful go‑live, working closely with internal teams and the MRI implementation partner.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare, cleanse and migrate property and tenancy data into MRI Horizon, mapping legacy fields to the new schema.
• Run data reconciliation, identify gaps or anomalies and collaborate with business teams to resolve them.
• Coordinate and support User Acceptance Testing (UAT), build test scenarios, log defects and drive their resolution.
• Leverage Excel, Microsoft Access and AI‑assisted workflows (LLMs such as Claude) to automate repetitive tasks.
• Be on the front line during cut‑over and go‑live, ensuring data integrity post‑implementation.
• Identify process improvement and automation opportunities and propose solutions.

Required profile

• Experience in the property or real‑estate sector (essential).
• Proven track record on software implementation or data migration projects.
• Strong data‑mapping skills and advanced Excel expertise (large datasets, lookups, pivots, validation).
• Hands‑on experience with UAT, defect logging and retesting.
• Methodical, detail‑obsessed approach to data quality.
• Confident communication with both technical and non‑technical stakeholders.
• Nice to have: experience with MRI Horizon or similar systems, property management and leasehold knowledge, comfort using AI tools for data processing, and proficiency with Microsoft Access.
