Systems Administrator

About the role
CTI is looking for a Systems Administrator to join its Hosting & Infrastructure team in Manchester. You will work on both platform engineering and technical support, gaining hands‑on experience with cloud environments and client‑facing platforms from day one.
Key responsibilities
- Service & Incident Response: collaborate with the support team to address technical incidents, system alerts and client‑reported escalations, ensuring minimal downtime.
- Platform Maintenance: assist in day‑to‑day management and optimisation of client cloud infrastructure, primarily on Microsoft Azure.
- System Administration: manage web‑hosting environments, including Linux servers and the Plesk control panel, to keep platforms stable, secure and performant.
- Infrastructure Support: contribute to platform security, monitoring and continuous improvement projects across hosting services.
Required profile
- Proactive attitude with a willingness to roll up sleeves and support a 24/7 service model.
- Quick learner able to adapt to new technologies and processes.
Required skills
- Experience with Microsoft Azure cloud platform.
- Administration of Linux servers.
- Knowledge of the Plesk web‑hosting control panel.
