Systems Administrator – M365, Networking & Hybrid Infra

About the role

We are seeking a project‑focused Systems Administrator / Infrastructure Engineer to design, build and secure a modern hybrid Microsoft 365 and network environment for a fast‑growing tech firm in central London.

Key responsibilities

• Configure and manage Microsoft Entra ID, Intune and Jamf for endpoint management.
• Engineer local networks, switches, VLANs and firewalls (Cisco, Palo Alto or Fortinet) and create isolated R&D lab environments.
• Collaborate with the IT Security Manager to monitor vulnerabilities, respond to incidents and automate patching using Microsoft Defender, Rapid7 or Automox.
• Design and maintain SharePoint document management structures and site architectures.
• Handle 3rd‑line escalations, lead infrastructure projects and contribute to overall system design.

Required profile

• Experienced infrastructure professional eager to move beyond routine help‑desk tasks.
• Proactive engineer comfortable working in a hybrid footprint supporting ~300 tech‑savvy users across multiple offices.
• Strong collaborator who will work closely with Service Desk analysts, fellow engineers, the Security Manager and Head of IT.
