Systems Administrator & Support Engineer

About the role

We are looking for a Systems Administrator & Support Engineer to join our small, friendly team in Sidmouth. You will provide high‑level technical support to a diverse portfolio of business customers while driving infrastructure improvements and equipment commissioning.

Key responsibilities

• Deliver first, second and third line support for PC desktops, workstations and Windows servers.
• Administer Microsoft 365, Azure AD, Exchange, IIS, Remote Desktop Services and SharePoint.
• Maintain core networking services – TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, VPNs – and manage RAID, routers and firewalls.
• Perform infrastructure upgrades, commission new hardware and ensure security best practices.
• Collaborate with customers to resolve issues quickly and maintain high service standards.

Required profile

• Proven experience with Windows OS, Windows Server and Microsoft 365 administration.
• Solid understanding of Azure AD, Exchange, IIS, RDS and SharePoint.
• Good knowledge of networking fundamentals (TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, VPN) and storage technologies (RAID, routers, firewalls).
• Strong customer‑service orientation and clear communication skills.
• Eligible to work in the UK without sponsorship and able to work onsite full‑time.

What we offer

• Permanent full‑time contract (Monday‑Friday onsite).
• Competitive salary between £27,000 and £30,000 per year.
