Tableau Developer

About the role

This is an opportunity to join a business at a pivotal stage in its reporting and analytics journey. You will work closely with senior stakeholders to identify revenue opportunities, improve operational visibility, and deliver impactful reporting that supports commercial decision‑making.

Key responsibilities

• Capture and refine reporting requirements from finance and operations stakeholders.
• Assess existing data sources, improve data quality, and create robust reporting solutions.
• Develop dashboards, scorecards, and management reports focused on revenue performance and operational efficiency.
• Analyse key business drivers such as pricing, journey metrics, resource utilisation, and maintenance activity.
• Identify quick wins and opportunities to enhance revenue visibility and operational performance.
• Support strategic projects by delivering insights that inform commercial and planning decisions.

Required profile

• Strong experience building dashboards and reporting solutions in Tableau.
• Advanced SQL skills for extracting, manipulating, and analysing complex datasets.
• Strong Excel capability for analysis and stakeholder reporting.
• Experience gathering requirements and translating business needs into actionable reporting outputs.
• Ability to work collaboratively with finance, operations, and senior business stakeholders.
• Experience within logistics, transportation, supply chain, or other operationally focused environments.
• Understanding of revenue optimisation, pricing analysis, or operational performance reporting.
• Python experience is advantageous but not essential.
• Exposure to ERP or operational systems such as NetSuite or similar platforms would be beneficial.

What we offer

• Contract role outside IR35 for 3 months.
• Rate of £400‑£500 per day.
• Hybrid work arrangement with 1‑2 days per week onsite in London.
