Tailor / Seamstress – Full‑Time Position

About the role

We are seeking an experienced Tailor or Seamstress to join our well‑established tailoring shop in Witney, Oxfordshire. The role is full‑time and permanent, offering the chance to work with a diverse range of garments from everyday wear to wedding dresses.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare, cut, alter and repair a variety of garments including suits, jackets, trousers, skirts, dresses and shirts.
• Conduct fittings with customers and provide advice on style and fit.
• Create made‑to‑measure garments according to client specifications.
• Maintain high standards of craftsmanship and workshop cleanliness.

Required profile

• Proven experience as a tailor or seamstress, capable of working independently.
• Confident and detail‑oriented with a strong eye for fit and finish.
• Ability to communicate clearly with customers during fittings.
• Commitment to the shop’s full‑time schedule and immediate availability.
