Talent Acquisition Partner

About the role

The Manufacturing Technology Centre (MTC) is building an in‑house Talent Acquisition team to support current and future hiring needs aligned with its business strategy. As a Talent Acquisition Partner you will own the end‑to‑end recruitment process for a designated business area, partnering closely with hiring managers to understand requirements and deliver high‑quality candidates.

Key responsibilities

• Partner with hiring managers to define recruitment needs and provide expert guidance.
• Develop and execute sourcing strategies using direct sourcing, market research and networking.
• Manage the full recruitment lifecycle: sourcing, screening, pre‑qualification, interview coordination and final selection.
• Ensure a seamless and exceptional candidate experience throughout the process.
• Continuously improve recruitment processes and metrics.
• Maintain compliance with security, reference and background check requirements.

• Demonstrated ability to work independently while delivering strong results.
• Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills.
• Strong work ethic, curiosity and a passion for learning about the business.
• Team player who can collaborate across a wide range of colleagues.
• Willingness to travel to all MTC sites as needed.

Required skills

• Proficiency in direct sourcing methodologies and recruitment best practices.
• Knowledge of security clearance processes (Security Check, Disclosure Scotland, Foreign Police Check).
