Tax Accountant

About the role

We are seeking a motivated Tax Accountant to join a fast‑growing accountancy firm in Maidenhead. You will work with a diverse portfolio of personal tax clients, delivering high‑quality compliance and advisory services while benefiting from a supportive, flexible work environment.

Key responsibilities

• Manage personal tax and capital gains tax compliance for a varied client base.
• Prepare, review and submit tax returns within statutory deadlines.
• Provide advisory support on inheritance tax (IHT), P11D, ATED, trusts and other specialist areas.
• Develop and maintain strong client relationships, acting as their trusted tax expert.
• Support junior team members or lead a small team, depending on experience.
• Contribute to commercial targets and business development initiatives.

Required profile

• Demonstrable experience in UK personal tax compliance.
• Professional qualification such as ATT, ACA, ACCA or equivalent.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team.
• Strong analytical mindset with attention to detail.
