Tax Adviser – Newcastle

About the role

We are seeking an experienced Tax Adviser to join our client’s team in Newcastle. You will deliver bespoke tax advisory projects across personal and business tax areas, supporting both clients and internal non‑tax staff.

Key responsibilities

• Provide proactive, high‑quality tax advice to minimise client churn and create ‘wow’ moments.
• Identify and mitigate tax‑related risks for both the firm and its clients.
• Contribute to marketing initiatives by attending events, networking and drafting content.
• Maintain up‑to‑date knowledge of technical tax updates and regulatory changes.
• Participate in technical, soft‑skill and leadership training as required.
• Achieve productivity targets, KPIs and high client‑satisfaction scores.

Required profile

• CTA qualified or equivalent experience (minimum 3 years providing tax advice).
• Strong analytical ability with commercial awareness.
• Excellent communication and client‑management skills.
• Ability to meet deadlines, prioritise workload and exceed expectations.

Required skills

• CTA qualification (or equivalent).
• Experience in corporate tax (preferred).
