Tax Advisor – Remote (UK) – £70k‑£80k

About the role

This fully remote position offers strategic tax advisory services to a diverse client base. You will tackle complex, non‑routine tax queries, providing clear guidance that balances technical accuracy with commercial insight. The role is ideal for professionals who enjoy problem‑solving and continuous learning in a dynamic environment.

Key responsibilities

• Deliver expert tax advice via reports and email on corporate tax and owner‑managed business scenarios.
• Handle intricate advisory queries including share schemes, gifting arrangements, inheritance tax planning, group loss relief optimisation, residence and domicile issues, foreign income and capital gains treatment, and business restructuring considerations.
• Research and analyse tax legislation and case law to support recommendations.
• Provide clear, practical recommendations that reflect commercial awareness.
• Stay up‑to‑date with legislative changes and their practical implications.
• Collaborate with colleagues on particularly complex or multi‑faceted cases.

Required profile

• CTA qualification or equivalent professional tax credential.
• Demonstrable corporate tax advisory experience.
• Proven ability to handle non‑routine tax queries and deliver strategic planning advice.
• Strong analytical thinking, comfortable with ambiguity and synthesising information from multiple sources.
• Excellent communication skills, able to explain complex concepts clearly to non‑technical clients.
• Self‑motivated, organised and proactive in a remote working environment.
