Tax Analyst - Automotive Industry

About the role

We are looking for a detail‑driven Tax Analyst to join our UK tax team in Milton Keynes, focusing on the automotive sector. Reporting to the Head of Tax, you will ensure compliance across corporation tax, VAT and employment tax while supporting the wider business.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare corporation tax computations and maintain robust supporting documentation.
• Calculate and submit quarterly corporation tax instalment payments.
• Prepare and file the quarterly UK VAT return and manage related payments.
• Provide VAT support to retailer sites, handling VAT‑free sales and ad‑hoc queries.
• Prepare and submit the annual PAYE Settlement Agreement (PSA) return.
• Liaise with external auditors (Deloitte) and support audit meetings.
• Assist internal audit requirements, including bi‑annual SOX compliance audits.
• Prepare tax calculations and disclosures for statutory financial statements.
• Support tax team projects and continuous improvement initiatives.
