Tax Assistant Manager

About the role

OEGen, a specialist energy investment manager, is expanding its in‑house tax capability. The Tax Assistant Manager will join a collaborative tax team and support a portfolio of funds and holding structures across multiple jurisdictions, working closely with investment, finance, legal and external advisory teams.

Key responsibilities

• Support the management of tax matters for OEGen funds and associated holding structures.
• Coordinate international tax compliance processes with local advisors.
• Assist with tax reporting, provisioning and financial‑statement disclosures.
• Contribute to tax workstreams on acquisitions, restructurings, refinancings and other transactions.
• Review transaction and financing documentation from a tax perspective.
• Monitor tax risks and support governance and compliance processes.
• Help improve internal tax processes and documentation.

Required profile

• 4‑5 years of corporate tax experience.
• CTA, ACA or equivalent qualification (or near qualification).
• Experience in a Big 4, international advisory firm, law firm or in‑house tax team.
• Strong commercial awareness, reasoning skills and willingness to learn.
• Interest in infrastructure, energy or investment management is a plus.
