Tax Compliance Accountant

About the role

You will join a large, forward‑looking organisation with a strong UK presence, working within a well‑established tax team. The role offers exposure to senior stakeholders and the chance to develop your tax expertise across multiple business divisions.

Key responsibilities

• Support the Senior Tax Manager with the full spectrum of corporate tax compliance for UK legal entities.
• Collect and analyse financial data from internal systems to prepare corporate tax returns for UK operations and overseas branches.
• Contribute to statutory reporting and ensure accurate, timely tax submissions.
• Collaborate with finance, commercial teams and external advisors to maintain robust governance and technical standards.
• Assist with R&D claims, tax provisioning, transfer‑pricing documentation, forecasting, audit preparation and wider reporting requirements.

Required profile

• Experience in UK corporate tax compliance (fully qualified, part‑qualified or equivalent).
• Strong attention to detail, analytical capability and excellent communication skills.
• Comfortable working with financial data systems and proficient in standard MS Office tools.
• Ability to manage competing deadlines in a fast‑paced environment.
• Proactive, flexible and collaborative mindset; support available for professional qualification.
