Tax & Corporate Accountant – Hospitality & Leisure

About the role

We are seeking a Tax & Corporate Accountant to join a leading international hotel group’s finance team in Kensington. The role focuses on UK corporation tax compliance and financial reporting, offering exposure to senior stakeholders and the chance to influence tax strategy across the business.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare and review UK corporation tax computations, returns and supporting schedules for multiple entities.
• Calculate tax provisions, record journal entries and perform balance‑sheet reconciliations for monthly, quarterly and annual reporting.
• Support year‑end audit activities by assembling tax documentation and liaising with external auditors.
• Assist with tax forecasting, quarterly payments and respond to HMRC enquiries.
• Collaborate with the wider finance team to enhance tax processes, strengthen controls and ensure compliance with UK tax legislation.

Required profile

• ACA, ACCA, CTA or ATT qualified (or part‑qualified) with solid UK corporation tax experience.
• Strong accounting background, capable of preparing journals and balance‑sheet reconciliations.
• Knowledge of UK GAAP and/or IFRS.
• Excellent communication skills and a proactive, detail‑oriented approach.
