Tax Director / Partner – Lead Tax Consultancy in Dartford

About the role

TPF Recruitment is seeking an experienced Tax Director / Partner to lead and develop a high‑profile tax consultancy practice in Dartford, Kent. You will manage an established client portfolio of owner‑managed businesses and high‑net‑worth individuals, shaping the firm’s tax offering across the South East.

Key responsibilities

• Provide advisory support on UK corporate tax matters, including M&A, property transactions, restructurings, de‑mergers and share‑scheme planning (EIS/SEIS).
• Deliver private client tax services such as estate planning, trusts, inheritance tax, capital gains tax and non‑domicile taxation.
• Oversee R&D tax credit claims, patent box applications and succession or exit strategies for clients.
• Drive business development, expand the tax portfolio and raise the firm’s regional profile.
• Manage and grow a portfolio of corporate and private client accounts, ensuring high‑quality service delivery.

Required profile

• CTA or ACA qualified (or equivalent) with extensive tax experience.
• Proven ability to work with both corporate and private clients, building long‑term relationships.
• Strong portfolio management and client‑facing expertise.
• Business‑development mindset with a track record of generating revenue.
• Leadership experience at Senior Manager or Director level in a professional practice.
