Tax Manager – Advisory Services

About the role

Our client, a well‑established accountancy and business advisory firm in the South East, is looking for an experienced Tax Manager to join their Tax Advisory team. The role is based primarily in Worthing with flexible working arrangements, allowing a blend of office and remote work.

Key responsibilities

• Provide clear, practical tax advice to a diverse portfolio of corporate and personal clients.
• Manage and review complex corporation tax compliance work, including restructures, EMI schemes and owner‑managed business planning.
• Advise on remuneration, succession, capital gains and inheritance tax strategies.
• Support profit extraction, management buy‑outs and broader business lifecycle planning.
• Collaborate with Business Services and Audit teams on cross‑functional tax projects.
• Mentor and develop junior team members through line management and regular feedback.

Required profile

• Experience advising SME clients and business owners on both corporate and personal tax matters.
• CTA qualification is desirable; ATT or ACA qualification with relevant experience will also be considered.
• Strong technical knowledge across a broad range of tax areas.
• Excellent communication skills and ability to build trusted client relationships.
• Proactive, organised and committed to delivering high‑quality advisory work.
