Tax Manager – Corporate & Personal Tax

About the role

We are recruiting a permanent Tax Manager for a leading accountancy practice in Buckinghamshire. The role will lead tax advisory and compliance services for a diverse client portfolio, delivering strategic tax solutions and ensuring high client satisfaction.

Key responsibilities

• Oversee preparation and submission of corporate and personal tax returns.
• Provide expert advice on complex tax planning opportunities.
• Act as the main point of contact for a varied client portfolio.
• Supervise and mentor junior team members.
• Contribute to technical excellence and stay up‑to‑date with UK tax legislation.
• Support business development initiatives to grow the client base.

Required profile

• Qualified ACA, ACCA, CTA or equivalent.
• Significant experience in personal and corporate tax advisory and compliance.
• Strong technical knowledge of UK tax legislation and HMRC regulations.
• Proven ability to manage multiple client relationships proactively.
• Excellent communication skills with ability to explain complex tax matters.
• Experience supervising or mentoring junior staff.
• Proactive, organised attitude and commitment to high‑quality work.
