Tax Manager

About the role

Join one of the UK’s largest purpose‑led accountancy firms as a Tax Manager within a growing Property Tax team. You will work on advisory projects for a diverse client base, including owner‑managed businesses, corporate groups, property owners and high‑net‑worth individuals. No prior property tax experience is required – you will receive structured training while applying your existing tax knowledge.

Key responsibilities

• Support delivery of property tax advisory work, covering SDLT, VAT on land and property, and capital allowances under senior guidance.
• Assist with tax due diligence, transaction support and documentation review on property and corporate deals.
• Prepare draft technical notes, advice letters and client‑facing documentation for review.
• Research technical queries and support senior colleagues on complex tax issues.
• Identify tax planning opportunities and risks under supervision.

Required profile

• ATT/CTA part‑qualified, qualified, or qualified by experience with a background in mixed tax, corporate tax or private client tax.
• Strong technical grounding in at least one core tax discipline.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Proactive, team‑oriented attitude and ability to manage own workload.
