Tax Manager – Personal & Private Client Focus (Hybrid)

About the role

We are seeking a Tax Manager to lead our personal tax and private client practice in Milton Keynes. The role offers autonomy, hybrid working (four days onsite, one day remote) and the chance to shape a growing tax department within a close‑knit team.

Key responsibilities

• Manage a portfolio of personal tax and private client engagements, overseeing compliance and filings.
• Provide tax planning and advisory services to individuals and families.
• Develop and expand mixed tax services, including corporate and business tax, across the practice.
• Take ownership of the tax function, driving its growth and enhancing the firm’s offering.
• Act as a trusted advisor and primary point of contact for clients.

Required profile

• Qualified CTA (ideal), ATT, ACA or ACCA; dual qualifications are a plus.
• Strong background in personal and private client tax, with experience in both compliance and advisory work.
• Commercially minded with a proactive approach and ambition to step into a leadership role.
• Excellent communication and client relationship skills.
