Tax Senior Accountant

About the role

We are seeking a Tax Senior Accountant to lead tax compliance and advisory work for a diverse portfolio of client entities. This full‑time, on‑site position involves preparing, reviewing, and coordinating tax filings while mentoring junior staff and collaborating with senior leadership.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare and review federal, state, and local tax filings for corporations, partnerships, and individuals.
• Analyze financial data to ensure accuracy and completeness of tax documentation.
• Lead review processes for staff work, providing coaching and corrective guidance.
• Coordinate daily workflow for tax engagements from planning through finalization.
• Research tax topics to resolve technical questions and support decision‑making.
• Communicate findings, risks, and considerations to senior leadership.
• Maintain ongoing client interaction to gather information and address inquiries.

Required profile

• Proven experience handling tax engagements across multiple entity types.
• Strong knowledge of tax regulations and compliance requirements.
• Ability to evaluate work product and mentor junior team members.
• Effective communication skills for internal collaboration and client interaction.
• Detail‑oriented with the ability to manage multiple priorities.
