Tax Senior

About the role

Pro-Finance, an established accountancy practice in Swindon, is looking for a Tax Senior to support partners in delivering corporate, personal and payroll tax services. The role blends oversight of tax compliance with hands‑on processing and offers clear pathways for career progression.

Key responsibilities

• Oversee all tax compliance work, including corporation tax, personal, trust and partnership tax, and payroll reporting.
• Prepare and review corporation tax returns, business tax computations and supporting analysis.
• Prepare personal tax returns for individuals, partnerships and trusts.
• Handle payroll calculations and related reporting.
• Lead tax assignments and supervise junior team members, delegating and reviewing their work.
• Communicate tax information to clients promptly and support managers with ad‑hoc projects.

Required profile

• CTA qualified or part‑qualified (qualification by experience considered).
• Minimum three years of practice experience at a senior level.
• Strong technical knowledge of corporation tax, income tax, capital gains tax and payroll.
• Experience leading tax compliance work.
