About the role
This position offers an experienced personal tax professional the chance to manage a diverse client portfolio within a supportive, hybrid working environment in Guildford. You will be responsible for ensuring tax compliance while providing advisory support to both clients and junior team members.
Key responsibilities
- Manage a portfolio of personal tax clients, ensuring timely and accurate filings.
- Prepare and review personal tax returns.
- Support tax advisory projects and initiatives.
- Provide technical guidance and mentorship to junior staff.
- Build and maintain strong client relationships.
Required profile
- Proven experience in personal tax, either as a specialist or within a mixed accounting‑tax role.
- Motivation to progress to a senior tax advisory position.
- Willingness to pursue CTA qualifications or complete ATT if required.
- Ability to work flexibly within a hybrid model.
